Why should anyone be interested in the seven largest construction companies in France? If I say "French architecture," you might come back to me with Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, or perhaps even the Canal Tunnel, an underwater marvel that connects France to the United Kingdom. When we think of building, though, we often don't consider less glamorous projects which, while a bit mundane, are considerably more vital to the functioning of any densely populated area.

Please think of the roads and highways you drive on, the ports our merchant ships tow, the office buildings we operate, and the residential spaces we call home. After the architects completed the blueprints for each endeavor, the builders revived all these parts of the infrastructure, many of which go unnoticed in such roles.
